Dr. Cook speaks at South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference on “Data Driven Strategies for Advancing Health Equity” March 2020 (canceled)

HERLab Director Benjamin Lê Cook, PhD, MPH joins two other national experts Jewel Mullen, University of Texas System Office of Health Affairs and David Lakey, the University of Texas System to present their work on the use of big data to develop and guide programs to reduce health disparities at SXSW.

In this session, from work conducted at the intersection of big data, health and racial inequity, Drs. Cook, Mullen and Lakey look at what is already being done, what questions remain unanswered, and where health systems might go from here.
